I'm a programmer. I have experience building and shipping mobile consumer apps for both iOS and Android platforms, building large, asychronous backend systems and scalable web applications, designing and implementing image and signal processing algorithms, working on operating system internals, creating thick-client desktop software, and working with realtime manufacturing-floor control systems (among other things). I've used many programming languages over the years, including (but not limited to) C, C++, Clojure, Erlang, Ruby, Scala, C#, Java, Groovy, Perl, Python, Objective-C, Common Lisp, and Scheme. I am a die-hard Emacs user, and I am happiest working in Linux. I make open source contributions as often as I'm able.

I aspire to live a robust and well-rounded life. I have a lot of hobbies. Ideally, I'd expound upon them a bit more fully here, but this is really more of a nod to the notion of a personal web site and less a manifestation of one.
